TWB DAY 1
 
Hi guys, we are the Bashful Group!! Your bloggers for the next couple of days.
Brandon Bowers, Brianna Clifton, Grant Cooke, Nathan Hewitt, Courtney Horne, Katie Howard, Jonathan Jenkins, Chelsea Knight, Brittany McMillan, Meredith Parks, Mary Catherine Rankin, Jordan Shoaf, Shelby Solis, Wesley Stewart
We arrived early this morning at Davidson College with anxiety and butterflies. After listening to Dennis ramble and circling the parking lot twice, we were finally on our way! Once on the bus we played the name game and listened to many corny jokes (Why do you take two pairs of pants when you go golfing? In case you get a hole in one!) After only a couple short hours, the butterflies started to go away and we started making new friends.
Our first gourmet meal of the day was ham and cheese sandwiches; WITH mayo and mustard; and name brand chips ;) Dennis even gave us all an after dinner mint!
After that delicious meal we rode for a couple more hours and played some more name games while still listening to corny jokes.
We arrived in La Grange and the Happy Group spent forty minutes in Wal-Mart figuring out our next gourmet meal! Finally we arrived out La Grange College and unpacked our belongings. As we post this blog we anticipate our grilled cheeseburgers, relay games and a sing along for the night!!! We will see ya tomorrow. Love ya mean it!
A note from Dennis..After reading the Bashful groups blog, I can't believe that they think my well thought out jokes are cheesy. I have spent 33 years putting my library of fun stories together just to be shot down in only one day. I can't believe it!! On a positive note TODAY WAS ABSOLUTELY GREAT! We had the best time on the bus learning all about our new best friends. If the rest of the TWB experience goes like today, then it will be impossible to say our good byes at Davidson College in 23 days. See ya tomorrow!!
